We are here to fill this world with love. The time we have to accomplish this task is often shorter than we expect. However, the energy we call love is not bound by time. Moments, days, and years may pass, but the love given by those we cherish will always remain. I hope you feel this truth deeply, as your husband, dad, and friend continues to send his love to you.

My family and I send our condolences for the loss of such an important part of your family.

As a child growing up in Kimberley, I was very lucky to be coached by Rod. What always stood out was his patience and kindness, it was like he knew what every child he worked with needed and god knows, I needed all the support I could get.

Rod was not just a coach but person that always put others needs before his own and the environment he created for his team on the mountain was perfect.

As I reflect upon my childhood and my memories of growing up in Kimberley, I realize I was very lucky to have had Rod be apart of my life.

I now have the honour of coaching Marielle and hope that I make him proud. Rod and his family are all amazing, this is never an easy time but remember, Rod has touched so many lives along his journey that he will never be forgotten.

I met Rod a few times, I will always remember our first time we met in Whistler after the first season i joined the team.
